Call for Papers – DECODE 2025 Workshop

We warmly invite you to submit your paper to the DECODE – Distributed Ecosystem for Circularity through Open Digital Enablers and the Digital Product Passport 2025 Workshop to enable circular economy ecosystems.

The workshop focuses on technical enablers and ecosystem models for the Digital Product Passport (DPP) and circular economy solutions across industrie. Key contributors include Dr. Martin Benedikt (Virtual Vehicle Research GmbH), Markus Tauber (Research Studios Austria FG), and Pal Varga (Budapest University of Technology and Economics), who will discuss practical DPP implementations and architectures.

Topics include:

  • Digital Product Passport (DPP) data services & architecture
  • Federated data governance & interoperability
  • Service ecosystems for circular business models
  • Smart and digital supply chains
  • Traceability, transparency, and lifecycle tracking
  • Self-sovereign identity and identity management for DPPs
  • Data intermediaries and DPP-supporting devices
  • Decentralized governance and data space architectures
  • Multi-access edge computing
  • Operations and Business Support Systems (OSS/BSS)
